Mother Rosa Holmes

Mother Rosa Holmes was born on March 6, 1940, to the late Samuel and Mary Moses Holliday, in Boykin, SC.  She was a graduate of Jackson High School and was employed at Kendall Mills for over 30 years.

A woman who did not mind sharing her gifts with the church and community, Mother Holmes was a faithful member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Camden, SC.

Mother Rosa Holmes leaves to cherish her memories, her three loving children; Debbie W. Edwards, Wendy W. Whitaker, and William C. (Kendra) Johnson.  Siblings Francenia H. Warren, Mable Holliday, Susanna Holliday, Easter H. Barnhill, Isaiah (Geraldine) Holliday, James (Pam) Holliday, and Thomas (Edna) Holliday.  Grandchildren Paul Edwards, Darren Whitaker, Tiffany Edwards, William D. Johnson, DeMarcus Johnson, Curtis Johnson, LaMia Johnson, and Kenya Johnson; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends.

Public viewing will be held Friday October 16, 2020 from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at A. D. Givens Funeral Services.  A private Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 17, 2020 at 11:00 A.M.
