Helen Givens Blessinger

Ms. Helen Givens Blessinger departed this life on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

A native of South Carolina, Ms. Blessinger spent her adult life in New York, where she served as a nurse until her retirement.

She was the mother of 4, being preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Allen and her son Avon Allen.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Norris Givens, Frank Givens, Sr. and Leroy Givens, Sr.  Ms. Blessinger leaves to cherish her memory her son Irving Vaughn and her daughter Sandra Danzy, along with a host of family members.

Viewing will take place on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 9:30am to  10:30am at the Massapequa Funeral Home located at 4980 Merrick Road in Massapequa, NY 11762.  The final commemoration will take place at a graveside service at 11am on Thursday, September 16, 2021.  The services will be located at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
