Clifford Simon

Clifford Simon was born on June 20, 1951, in Lee County, South Carolina to the late Andrew Simon and Mavenia Simon-Spriggs. Clifford made his transition on Monday, July 3, 2023, at his home in Bishopville, South Carolina.

Clifford was educated in the Lee County Public School System and later went on to Job Corp. He attended New Hope Baptist Church. In 1974, Clifford married Alice Williams. He was employed by Spartan Steel in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Clifford leaves to mourn his passing, a wife Alice Simon of Bishopville, SC; seven children, Dr. Kim C. Williams, Letitia Blackmon, Curtis (Olethia) Warren, Jeffrey (Talisha) Warren, Allison (James) Banks, Cleotis Outten, and Brittany Taylor; two sisters, Carrie Hawks and Lula Simon; three brothers, Andrew (Deanna) Simon, Bernard (Sharon) Simon, and Ervin Simon; ten grandchildren; an aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Simon, and Mavenia Simon-Spriggs; two sisters Toris Ann Simon and Gloria Snells; two brothers Isaiah “Zell” Simon and Evon Simon; and grandmother, Lula Thomas.
